Custodian at Tresco, Inc. – White Sands, New Mexico

Overview

The Custodian will be responsible for performing quality tasks required to meet the custodial services necessary.

Responsibilities

1. Perform janitorial duties per contract schedule, requirements, and standards to include:

2. a. Clean/supply kitchens and break rooms

b. Clean/supply restrooms

c. Clean drinking fountains

d. Clean and disinfect toilets

e. De-scaling

f. Remove office trash

g. Sweep floors

h. Vacuum cleaning

i. Spot cleaning

j. Spray/buff floors

k. Wet mop floors

l. Interior/exterior window cleaning entrance ways windows

m. Perform high dusting monthly

ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education. High School or GED.

Experience. Custodial and Janitorial service

Education/Experience substitution. In accordance with Tresco policy.

Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check. Note: For Federal position list NCICS Clearance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

1. Bilingual skills are not required but are beneficial.
2. Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding clients and employees of Tresco.
3. Ability to work under stressful situations.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team setting
5. Ability to secure and maintain an NACI clearance.

Rate of Pay: $17.75/hour

Pay Range: WDR

Hours: Monday and Wednesday 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM
