Job Description
Position: Floor Care Custodian
WDR:$17.75
Overview
Under supervision perform quality building custodial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Empty and disinfect trash receptacles assuring they are free of dirt, dust, streaks, spots and add new insert new bag.
- Clean and disinfect fixtures, shelves, mirrors, glass surfaces and dispensers assuring no discoloration, rust, dust, spots, streaks, stains, mildew, cobwebs, soil substance or excess moisture.
- Clean bare floors assuring floors are free from spills, dirt, dust, trash, water, gum, grease, tar, and foreign debris and present an overall appearance of cleanliness.
- Clean carpeted floors assuring carpets are free of spills, dust, dirt, crusted material, spots, smears, and stains.
- Clean doors, baseboards, walls, and other surfaces assuring they are free of residue and marks.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education. High School or GED.
Experience. Custodial and Janitorial service experience
Education/Experience substitution. In accordance with Tresco policy.
Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license or Valid Identification Card
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check. Note: For Federal position list NCICS Clearance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Bilingual skills are not required but are beneficial.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding clients and employees of Tresco.
- Ability to work under stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to secure and maintain an NACI clearance.
Rate of Pay: $17.75/hour
Hours: Mon-Fri 12PM- 8PM
