Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections on printed wiring boards (PWBs), circuit card assemblies (CCAs), electrical harnesses, and thermal blanket insulation. The inspector ensures all products meet engineering drawings, IPC standards, and customer specifications, specifically focusing on reliability in aerospace or harsh-environment applications.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or type using keyboards, The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to work in an ESD-protected environment.
The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus and identify colors.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position is full-time 40 hours per week. Typically, day and core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
