General Description

The Supply Chain Planning Specialist supports Demand Planning and Supply Execution by preparing, maintaining, and structuring the data, reporting, and tools required for effective planning and execution. This role is responsible for ensuring that planning inputs are accurate, consistent, and available on a recurring cadence to enable decision-making across inventory, forecast performance, and supply execution.

The role works closely with Demand Planning, Supply Execution, Procurement, and Operations to provide visibility into performance, maintain data integrity, and support planning processes. This position focuses on delivering structured outputs, maintaining alignment across systems, and enabling efficient planning workflows.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Own the preparation and maintenance of inventory reporting, including weeks of supply (WOS), excess inventory, slow-moving items, and aging inventory, ensuring alignment with system data and planning requirements.
• Track inventory performance against defined targets and thresholds, highlighting variances and ensuring visibility to appropriate stakeholder to maintain service levels and inventory health.
• Maintain reporting on purchase order status, receipts, and execution performance against plan, ensuring visibility to supply execution outcomes.
• ·Own the preparation and maintenance of forecast performance reporting, including forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast versus actual comparisons across SKUs and channels.
• Develop and maintain SKU segmentation and classification frameworks to support inventory visibility, prioritization, and planning alignment.
• Structure and maintain planning datasets to support review of forecast performance, demand shifts, and planning assumptions.
• · Consolidate planning data from ERP systems and existing reporting tools into standardized formats for use in Demand and Supply planning processes.
• Prepare and maintain standardized planning outputs and materials for Demand Review, Supply Review, and S&OP cycles, ensuring data alignment and completeness.
• ·Maintain planning-related master data inputs, including lead times, minimum order quantities, and SKU attributes, ensuring consistency across systems.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies across ERP systems, planning tools, and reporting outputs to maintain reliable planning data.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based tools, trackers, and templates to support planning visibility, reporting efficiency, and process consistency.
• Support planning system and MRP-related activities, including data validation, testing support, and issue tracking in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Own the preparation and consistency of supply chain performance metrics related to service levels, inventory health, and execution performance using established data sources.
• ·Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on data, reporting, and planning priorities across Demand Planning and Supply Execution.
• Provide support for subcontractor and procurement-related activities as needed, including data preparation, tracking, and coordination support.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support planning alignment and execution visibility.
• ·Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, operations, planning support, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems and structured reporting tools preferred
• General understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Ability to manage recurring deliverables with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
