Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Torque Converter (TC) Specialist to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, assembling, repairing, and testing torque converters. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance and reliability of our drivetrain components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, and diagnose torque converters for wear, damage, or failure.
- Rebuild and assemble torque converters to meet OEM specifications and Moveras quality standards.
- Operate specialized equipment for balancing, welding, and pressure testing torque converters.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and testing procedures.
- Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with torque converters or in a related automotive transmission role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with drivetrain systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Experience with welding, balancing, or hydraulic testing equipment is a plus.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- ASE Certification or equivalent automotive technical training.
- Prior experience in a remanufacturing or OEM production facility.
