The Cancer Center in the Outpatient Chemotherapy Department is seeking an experienced Oncology RN who likes patient/family education. The individual will be responsible for coordinating and performing Chemo 101 classes for our patients. The duties of this position include reviewing physician's schedules for new patients, contacting new patients to arrange educational class time, performing bedside instruction to new patients, ordering educational material and documentation of education into the patient EHR. This position requires five years of Oncology/Med Surg experience, OCN certification and chemotherapy education in the classroom setting. The hours are 8-430 Monday-Friday with holidays and weekends off.
