Registered Nurse (PDX No Diff) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

WKHS is looking for an energetic, highly motivated nurse who can work in all clinical environments. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills. Attention to detail, flexibility, dependability and having excellent communication skills are required. Will work at all four campuses in a variety of physician offices. The RN will need to be able to administer medications, answer and return phone calls, and medication management. They will need to be familiar with the drawing lab, knowledgeable in flu, strep and Covid labs. They will work closely with insurance companies. They will assist in scheduling lab, X-rays, obtaining preauthorizations and referrals for procedures and surgeries. Hospital and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00pm
