RN ST: RN Staff at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

The Pediatric Intensive Care unit, located on the WKS campus, is designed to meet the needs of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Specially trained staff have the knowledge, skills, and judgement to provide quality care to the critically ill to achieve the best possible outcome for the children we serve. We believe in family-centered care, involving the parents/family and patients in all aspects of care, including decision-making.

New employees receive 12 weeks of orientation with a designated preceptor. We offer ACLS, PALS and NRP at no cost to employees, as well as specialty differential pay. Maintaining a healthy work environment includes taking care of staff. To help balance life and work, we offer flexible scheduling.
