About This Position
The Hospital Performance Analyst Principal is responsible for the execution of a broad range of administrative, managerial, strategic, and operational activities related to the organization’s quality, patient safety programs, quality-based revenue, and reputation management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Serves as liaison with clinical and administrative leadership, institutions, and academic programs for all quality and performance-related matters.
• Manages and ensures the timely and accurate reporting of all reputation management sensitive quality measures as they relate to the following programs, including but not limited to: Leapfrog Group, U.S. News & World Report hospital rankings, CMS hospital inpatient quality reporting programs, CMS hospital outpatient quality reporting programs, and other programs as determined by executive leadership.
• Manages reporting and analytics for other internal and publicly reported quality programs:
• University or other directed payment programs
• CMS quality payment programs
• Other outpatient value-based purchasing programs.
• Other inpatient value-based purchasing programs.
• Provides oversight for all other externally reported quality metrics in measures collected by and reported by other departments or divisions.
• Provides project management for significant quality management and patient safety projects.
• Represents the organization and its constituencies in an administrative capacity as requested to outside agencies or offices, and governmental agencies.
• At times, upon request, seeks external grant funding opportunities to develop innovative programs to benefit the strategic quality goals of the organization and the region.
Education:
Master’s Degree or higher in healthcare quality, healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related field required
Experience:
Experience regarding project management, quality control, or quality management required. Extensive experience within the healthcare sector is preferred. Skills in data analytics are highly desired. Experience with grant writing and management is desired.
