Insight Technology Solutions is a dynamic organization committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Program Analyst to join our contract and play a vital part in supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Stakeholder Engagement Division's (SED) International Affairs team. You will work independently, yet collaboratively, with a diverse team spanning multiple time zones, regions, and cultures. Your efforts will directly impact CISA’s mission to enhance international partnerships and strengthen the cybersecurity and infrastructure security landscape.


Responsibilities:

As a Junior Program Analyst specializing in Travel and Administrative Support, you will:

  • Manage the overall international travel process for CISA, ensuring that travel aligns with overarching CISA goals and objectives, and travelers follow required procedures for international travel.
  • Implement and maintain the Agency-wide international travel process, collaborating with the Agency’s Chief Information Office (CIO) to contribute to the development and maintenance of an information management solution for the travel process.
  • Refine the agency’s international travel process and electronic and physical file management systems, providing innovative options to streamline and improve records management and retention systems for CISA International leadership.
  • Provide proactive, customer-centric support for all CISA international travelers, assisting them in navigating and using the international travel portal/system, understanding and fulfilling all international travel requirements, and completing travel process requirements smoothly and efficiently.
  • Facilitate logistics for international travel requirements, including coordinating, dropping off, and picking up visas and passports for official travel.
  • Manage and fulfill request letters for visas and official passports, including drafting, clearing, and transmitting visa and passport request letters and memos as appropriate, and delivering documents and materials as required.
  • Populate and maintain CISA International’s public webpages and internal webpages and platforms.
  • Manage CISA International’s distribution lists and Teams channels and chats, ensuring that access and membership lists are up to date, and files are updated and archived appropriately.
  • Hold information sessions for CISA personnel to educate them on how to use the agency’s international travel process and successfully complete international travel.
  • Draft frequently asked questions (FAQs) to proactively respond to potential queries from travelers.
  • Draft analysis, reports, briefing materials, Night Notes, and other materials as needed on international travel, including identifying trends and providing CISA leadership with statistics and graphics/charts on travel locations, volume, topics, etc.
  • Manage the collection, review, and distribution of trip reports from travelers to the appropriate officials within CISA International and beyond, as needed.
  • Liaise with other parts of CISA and the interagency as needed to ensure streamlined fulfillment of international travel requirements and processes, participating in calls with travelers and/or international partners regarding travel requirements that may fall outside of core work hours due to differing time zones.
  • Update and maintain CISA International’s standard operating procedures and welcome kit for new personnel, including periodically reviewing procedures with CISA International leadership and ensuring links in documents function.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and training of new personnel.
  • Curate CISA International’s electronic and physical file management systems by maintaining existing information and providing innovative options to CISA International leadership on how to streamline and improve records management and retention systems.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, business administration, political science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience (professional, academic, volunteering experience will be considered).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with international travel procedures and requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in coordinating international travel logistics.
  • Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive experience for all CISA international travelers.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a multicultural and geographically dispersed team.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: 1 day in office (Arlington, VA)

Salary: $60-70K
