Offsite Maintenance Technician – Sausalito, CA

Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Full-time (includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation as needed)

What You’ll Do

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally

• Prioritize and complete work orders efficiently

• Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities

• Assist with apartment turnovers (painting, repairs, preparation)

• Troubleshoot and repair:

- Plumbing issues (toilets, backups, minor repairs)

- Electrical systems (minor repairs)

- HVAC systems and air conditioning

• Maintain pool areas, landscaping, and trash enclosures

• Move furniture/equipment and run property-related errands

• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs

• Suggest improvements to maintenance programs and processes

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience (apartment/property maintenance preferred)

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Skills & Knowledge

• General knowledge of:

- Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

- Carpentry, painting, and basic repairs

- Appliance troubleshooting

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to learn and grow technical skills

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to travel between properties as needed

• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs occasionally)

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery
