About This Position
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the General Manager the Sales Representative will sell coating services offered by the company to current and new clientele.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
· Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their service needs; identifies and suggests services to meet those needs.
· Demonstrates the functions and utility of services to customers based on their needs.
· Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
· Maintains communication with existing, previous, and potential customers, alerting them of new services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
· A minimum of 10 follow ups on quotes per month.
· Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
· Provides periodic sales forecasts.
· Calls must be logged into the CRM immediately following the appointment per the sales call procedure. Must be listed as in person, phone, zoom, or teams.
· Maintain a quote backlog and set target number of quotes created per month.
· Must visit with existing and potential customers once every 90 days.
· A mix of existing and new customers seen throughout the year should be established with management.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
· At least five years of related experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and write in English. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Experience communicating in a professional manner on the telephone and in person.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
