Scrub Technician at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus is in Bolivar, Missouri, where you'll find a hometown feel and affordable housing options. About the department: The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.

A typical day includes: Assisting with the supplies and needs of the department, maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment and knowing and applying aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable.

• Provides perioperative care of the patient
• Prepares the operating room and equipment
• Provides support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway
• Handles specimens collected

Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of a surgical technology program from an accredited institution
• Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist or LPN with scrub tech experience
• Skills: Organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification: Preferred Certified Surgical Technologist
• Physical: Ability to work standing 90% of the day and work for the remaining 10% at a computer

The position is: Full-time days - 7:00am-4:30pm
