Staffing and Project Excellence Lead at FALCONI US – Chicago, Illinois

About the role:

This is a high-impact role responsible for overseeing:

• Resource allocation and utilization
• Project portfolio performance
• Staffing and capacity planning
• PMO governance and reporting
• Internal systems supporting project and resource management

You will work cross-functionally with Business Leaders, Finance, Talent, and IT teams to ensure the firm operates efficiently and profitably.

Key responsibilities:

Resource & Staffing Management

• Allocate consultants across projects based on skills and availability
• Monitor utilization and bench cost
• Forecast staffing needs and capacity risks

Portfolio & Financial Oversight

• Track project performance (margin, burn rate, days sold vs. delivered)
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions
• Provide portfolio reporting to leadership

PMO & Systems Ownership

• Improve project management standards and governance
• Own tools supporting staffing and portfolio tracking
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency

Knowledge & Best Practices

• Maintain structured documentation of project results
• Support development of case repository and reusable insights

What You Bring

• Experience in consulting, professional services, PMO, or resource management
• Strong understanding of utilization and project economics
• Analytical mindset and comfort working with data
• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Experience with project/resource management systems is a plus
