About This Position

Position Description: Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and supervises students during assigned lunch periods
  • Maintains an active presence around the cafeteria
  • Organizes students into lines and manages the flow of students into the food service area
  • Supervises students during recess by monitoring their recreational activities including the use of school equipment and participation in group games.
  • Maintains order by reinforcing cafeteria and recess rules and procedures.
  • Interacts with students in a friendly and cordial manner.
  • Upholds and enforces school rules, administrative regulations and policies.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Mission driven and demonstrates commitment to the school's mission and vision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enjoys working with students
  • Highly motivated, collaborative coordinator with the ability to manage groups of students
  • Self starter with the ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment

  • Compassionate attitude and strong understanding of child development
  • Bachelors degree preferred
