ABOUT THE ROLE

Nadel is looking for an experienced and dependable Outbound Warehouse Lead to help oversee the Fulfillment (picking, packing, and shipping) portions of Nadel Fulfillment’s operation.

Working closely with the Outbound Supervisor, this position serves as a hands-on leader on the warehouse floor, helping organize daily workloads, assign tasks, train employees, troubleshoot operational issues, and keep orders moving safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands warehouse operations, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and is comfortable leading by example. This role is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or fulfillment experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility and help drive the performance of an outbound team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Help coordinate daily picking, packing, fulfillment, and shipping activities based on operational priorities and order volume.
  • Communicate the daily operating plan to team members and help ensure service, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
  • Assign and prioritize work across the team to keep orders moving efficiently throughout the outbound process.
  • Work within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete operational tasks, monitor workflow, and support order processing.
  • Provide hands-on direction, training, and support to warehouse employees.
  • Help ensure appropriate staffing and coverage across work areas based on daily operational needs.
  • Maintain working knowledge of outbound warehouse functions and step into different areas of the operation when necessary.
  • Monitor workflow and proactively identify delays, bottlenecks, quality concerns, or other issues that could impact customer orders.
  • Communicate operational performance and concerns related to safety, quality, and productivity to the Outbound Supervisor.
  • Run operational reports and communicate information with other departments and teams as needed.
  • Assist the Outbound Supervisor with reviewing and adjusting employee timesheets.
  • Reinforce warehouse safety procedures and help ensure employees are following established processes and expectations.
  • Support process improvements that make the operation safer, more accurate, and more efficient.
  • Lead by example and help create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, distribution, or related operational experience.
  • Ability to provide day-to-day direction and support to other warehouse employees.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adjust quickly when priorities, order volume, or operational needs change.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good judgment and the ability to identify and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependability, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Experience working with a WMS or similar warehouse system preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred.
  • Previous experience serving as a lead, trainer, or point person within a warehouse environment is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures dn noise levels
