Reports to: Solutions ArchitectOverviewThe Enterprise System Analyst supports and improves Galco’s Epicor Prophet 21 environment. This position works with business users to resolve application issues and improve day-to-day ERP processes.
The role combines practical knowledge of distribution operations with SQL and C#/.NET skills. Working with the Solutions Architect and development team, this person handles assigned enhancements through testing and implementation, including P21 configuration, business rules, reporting, and related integrations. This position is on-site in Madison Heights MI.Major Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance P21 across Galco’s locations and operating companies. Provide guidance on application functionality and configuration.
• Investigate escalated ERP issues using application behavior, transaction data, and custom code. Coordinate with Epicor or other vendors when additional support is needed.
• Work directly with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Service, and Finance to clarify requirements and improve workflows.
• Develop and troubleshoot C#/.NET code for P21 business rules and related automation, following established patterns and working with the development team.
• Configure and support DynaChange, portals, alerts, scheduled tasks, and other P21 settings.
• Support API-based integrations and EDI processes. Investigate failed transactions and work with other developers to correct data or processing issues.
• Create and maintain Crystal Reports forms and labels, SQL queries, and operational reports. Confirm results with the departments that use them.
• Test P21 upgrades and application changes, including custom rules, forms, and integrations. Coordinate user acceptance testing and verify changes following deployment.
• Maintain application permissions and branch-level access controls according to approved business requirements.
• Assist with ERP implementations, data conversions, and reconciliation for acquisitions, new locations, and system changes.
• Document custom functionality and support procedures. Provide end-user training and guidance.
• Use source control and established review and release procedures. Track assigned work and communicate progress or issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least three years of hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 in application support, configuration, or development.
• Solid understanding of distribution operations, including quoting and order entry, pricing, purchasing, inventory, fulfillment, and invoicing.
• Practical C#/.NET development experience, including the ability to understand existing code, diagnose failures, and implement changes.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of the P21 database structure. Ability to investigate transaction data and work with queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Experience configuring P21 or supporting custom functionality in a production environment.
• Experience with Crystal Reports or Crystal Forms, including modifying operational documents and labels.
• Experience using APIs and working with structured data such as JSON or XML.
• Familiarity with Git or comparable source control, along with testing and release procedures.
• Ability to work directly with business users, explain technical issues clearly, and follow assigned work through completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing P21 business rules or working directly with P21 APIs.
• Experience with Azure Functions and troubleshooting scheduled or background applications.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, EDA/Phocas, or Epicor Report Studio.
• Experience supporting EDI transactions or integrations with eCommerce, product information, CRM, or shipping systems.
• Participation in ERP implementations, upgrades, or data migrations.
• Experience supporting multiple branches, service and repair operations, or assembly processes.
