Operator Department in Archbold, Ohio at Napoleon Spring Works, Inc

The Operator Department is looking for a detail oriented, hands-on team member to support daily order fulfillment and packaging operations. This role is essential to ensuring customer receive accurate, well-packaged orders while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick and verify hardware items according to customer order specifications.
• Hand pack custom, specialty, and small-quantity orders following label instructions.
• Ensure correct quantities, part numbers, labels, and packaging materials are used.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the operator department.
• Monitor inventory supply levels and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Learn and assist in other operator department stations as needed.
• Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining high accuracy.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, packing, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move packages throughout the shift.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to use hands for repetitive grasping and packaging tasks.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 3:00PM
