RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and overall warehouse organization.
• Manage domestic and international small parcel shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
• Evaluate and optimize warehouse layout, processes, and workflow to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Lead, train, and support warehouse personnel, including staffing coordination, onboarding, performance management, and annual reviews.
• Administer and monitor the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process to ensure accurate and timely handling of returned products.
• Ensure employees involved in shipping activities maintain up-to-date Hazmat certifications and comply with all applicable regulations.
• Negotiate and secure competitive freight and trucking rates to support cost-effective shipping operations.
• Develop and maintain effective packaging, labeling, and logistics procedures to ensure accurate and safe shipments.
• Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime.
• Maintain adequate inventory of warehouse supplies while ensuring proper storage, labeling, and organization throughout the facility.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Manage employee schedules, including vacation requests and time-off planning, to maintain operational coverage.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse accuracy, efficiency, and throughput.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Warehouse, Shipping, or Logistics Management preferred.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures using major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience managing RMA processes and warehouse inventory organization systems.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to supervise teams, coordinate schedules, and conduct employee evaluations.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Hazmat shipping regulations and compliance requirements preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs in a warehouse environment.
