This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Gestionnaire, Comptabilité des revenus et facturation - Finance based in Canada.
This role is a senior finance leadership position focused on owning the end-to-end revenue and billing operations within a SaaS subscription environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all revenue streams from contract signature through billing, collection, and revenue recognition. The position plays a critical role in managing the order-to-cash cycle, reducing operational friction, and improving financial accuracy across multiple entities. You will lead a small team while working closely with Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and broader Finance stakeholders. This is a highly operational yet strategic role where you will optimize systems, enhance automation, and strengthen financial processes at scale. It is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in complex, high-growth, subscription-based environments.
- Own and lead the monthly revenue close process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, deferred revenue schedules, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Act as functional owner of revenue systems within NetSuite (Advanced Revenue Management), ensuring data integrity and continuous improvement
- Manage the full order-to-cash cycle across multiple billing entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with indirect tax regulations
- Reduce DSO and manual exceptions by identifying and resolving root causes across CRM-to-ERP processes
- Oversee billing operations and subscription revenue flows, ensuring consistency across renewals, amendments, and invoicing cycles
- Drive automation and AI adoption within finance workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Lead strategic finance projects including system migrations, entity optimization, and revenue tech stack improvements
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, RevOps, and Customer Success to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve processes
Requirements:
- CPA designation with 7–10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in revenue accounting, billing operations, or SaaS finance roles
- Strong expertise in subscription-based revenue models, including ARR, renewals, deferred revenue, and billing adjustments
- Solid understanding of accounting standards such as ASPE, IFRS 15, or ASC 606
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (including Advanced Revenue Management preferred) or similar ERP systems
- Experience with subscription billing platforms such as Recurly, Zuora, or equivalent
- Knowledge of indirect tax processes in a SaaS environment, including tax filings and compliance (Avalara experience an asset)
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools to improve finance and operational processes
