Lead, Product Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead, Product Management based in United States.

The Lead, Product Management will play a central role in advancing digital transformation through innovative, business-focused software products and solutions.
This position will define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps while ensuring solutions deliver measurable value and align with organizational priorities.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and cross-functional partners to turn complex needs into actionable product outcomes.
The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on discovery, requirements management, Agile delivery, quality, launch, and adoption activities.
You will serve as a key bridge between technical and non-technical teams, creating alignment around priorities, customer needs, and product opportunities.
The position also provides an opportunity to coach team members, influence organizational change, and support emerging technologies such as data, analytics, visualization, GIS, and AI.
With broad ownership and significant stakeholder exposure, you will help shape digital solutions that create lasting business impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and manage product vision, value propositions, strategies, and roadmaps for digital products and solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and feedback activities to identify business needs, customer requirements, opportunities, and areas for product improvement.
  • Gather, prioritize, and translate stakeholder and customer needs into user stories, use cases, requirements, and actionable deliverables for development teams.
  • Monitor product adoption, performance, stakeholder feedback, and business outcomes, using insights to recommend roadmap adjustments and investment priorities.
  • Evaluate and support the incubation of innovative ideas, emerging technologies, and digital capabilities that can strengthen business performance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business units to understand workflows, strategic objectives, operational challenges, and priorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring transparency, effective communication, and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Organize, document, and communicate stakeholder input to support effective product planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Collaborate with development teams from product concept through launch, supporting Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery activities.
  • Create clear requirements and product artifacts that translate business objectives into executable technical work.
  • Support product quality through acceptance testing, defect documentation, validation activities, and close collaboration with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate product delivery risks while working with leadership and project teams to develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with product management and quality assurance team members, helping remove cross-functional obstacles and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams on product launches, adoption strategies, go-to-market activities, and change management initiatives.
  • Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and stakeholder communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop presentations, communications, and supporting materials that clearly articulate product value and encourage user adoption.
  • Lead, coach, and support assigned team members by providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Coordinate workloads and resources to support high-quality delivery while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Perform people-management responsibilities as assigned, including performance feedback and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional directly related professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience managing software products from concept through launch.
  • Experience leading product discovery activities, engaging stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritizing opportunities, and making strategic tradeoff decisions based on measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles, Agile software development methodologies, requirements management, backlog prioritization, and product lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, prioritize, and translate complex stakeholder needs into clear requirements, user stories, use cases, and actionable deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, marketing, finance, legal, operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience managing product adoption, stakeholder communications, organizational change, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable business value.
  • Experience supporting data, analytics, AI-enabled products, digital business solutions, visualization, GIS, digital engineering, or related technologies is preferred.
  • Experience within architecture, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technology-enabled professional services environments is preferred.
  • Formal training or certification in Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Change Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading stakeholder communications, product adoption programs, and organizational change initiatives is preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally when required, with expected travel of approximately 10% or less.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, progressive environment while managing multiple priorities and business-critical initiatives.

  • Competitive salary range of $122,595 to $214,510 USD, depending on qualifications, experience, and other applicable factors.
