Position Overview
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for owning and maintaining RugsUSA's master marketing calendar, ensuring every channel — email, social, paid media, site, and creative — is aligned on timing, dependencies, and deliverables. This role acts as the connective tissue across the marketing team, proactively surfacing conflicts and gaps before they impact campaign execution. By keeping the calendar accurate and channels in sync, the Manager helps the team launch campaigns smoothly, on time, and with full cross-functional visibility.
Essential Job Functions
- Own and maintain the master marketing calendar, ensuring all campaigns, promotions, and content are accurately scheduled across channels
- Serve as the central point of coordination between channel owners (email, social, paid media, site/on-page, creative) to align timing and dependencies
- Proactively flag scheduling conflicts, missing assets, or misaligned launch dates before they impact campaign execution
- Facilitate recurring marketing calendar meetings, capturing updates, decisions, and action items across teams
- Partner with Creative and Content teams to ensure asset requests and deadlines are built into the calendar with adequate lead time
- Track campaign briefs and deliverables to ensure every channel has what it needs ahead of launch
- Maintain documentation of marketing processes, calendar workflows, and channel requirements/SLAs
- Monitor key dates (product launches, promotions, holidays, sales events) and ensure they're reflected across the calendar and channel plans
- Support ad hoc marketing operations projects and process improvements as needed
You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a coordination role, ideally in retail or e-commerce
- Experience with marketing or project calendar tools (e.g. Airtable, Jira) and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and channels
- Comfort managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working directly with email, social, paid media, or site merchandising teams
- Prior experience building or managing a cross-channel marketing calendar
- Experience in home goods, retail, or e-commerce industries

Additional Information
- Based at RugsUSA's NYC Office on a hybrid schedule (on site 3-4 days/week)
- Minimal travel required

The pay range for this role is:
110,000 - 130,000 USD per year(Manhattan Office)
