Job Description

Canyon Equities is a professional services team that supports the following companies; Custer, CS Erickson and FastSigns. We provide highly desired resources in the following functional areas, Information Technology, Finance and Human Resources and Facility Management.

At Canyon Equities, we believe exceptional workplaces begin with well-maintained, safe, and welcoming facilities. As the Facilities Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the buildings and operations that serve the Custer family of companies. Working under the direction of the Facility Manager, you'll help maintain our office environments, support building security, respond to facility needs, and ensure our properties remain clean, functional, and ready for employees, tenants, and visitors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining high-quality spaces, and values providing outstanding service. No two days are the same—you'll be involved in everything from light maintenance and facility improvements to supporting building operations, security systems, and special projects across multiple locations.

If you're dependable, proactive, enjoy solving problems, and want to make a visible impact on the employee and tenant experience, we'd love to have you join the Canyon Equities team.

The Facility Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of Canyon Equities’ managed facilities. Acting as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters, this position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day maintenance, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining building systems to the highest standards. The Facility Manager provides hands-on support for minor repairs, executes regular inspections, and oversees work order and preventative maintenance programs through the CMMS platform.

This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a working knowledge of building systems. As a key liaison between tenants, vendors, and internal teams, the Facility Manager upholds the high standards of service and safety that define the Canyon Equities experience.

  • Perform regular building inspections and audits to ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards are met
  • Serve as the second level of escalation for after-hours and weekend facility emergencies unless otherwise scheduled
  • Maintain and update the CMMS system for work order entry, status updates, and reporting
  • Oversee and maintain the building’s security card access system, including user management and system functionality within platforms such as Feenics and HID Mobile Access
  • Monitor and support the building’s camera systems, ensuring equipment is operational and coordinating repairs or updates as needed
  • Manage and update digital floorplans and CAD files to reflect space changes, maintenance needs, and documentation accuracy
  • Respond to tenant and internal work order requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication
  • Manage and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for building systems and infrastructure
  • Coordinate and monitor the work of external service providers including housekeeping, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, pest control, and others
  • Ensure vendors comply with building protocols, safety guidelines, and service agreements
  • Participate in evaluating vendor performance and recommending improvements or changes as needed
  • Act as the liaison between building tenants and Custer, addressing concerns, managing service requests, and providing ongoing communication related to building operations
  • Partner with tenants to ensure understanding and compliance with building policies and emergency procedures
  • Support safety initiatives, including seasonal preparedness, building security protocols, and emergency response readiness
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally between sites
  • Must be available for on-call support during evenings and weekends as needed
  • Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to perform indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
