As a national leader in providing services to individuals with disabilities and mental illness, we're seeking dedicated leaders to join our St. Louis office as a Behavior Specialist. The Behavior Specialist is responsible for successfully conducting applied behavior analysis and therapy with individuals within Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark) or that have contracts with Benchmark to provide these services.

Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct behavior analysis services, including assessments, treatment planning, therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and documentation.
- Develop individualized behavior goals and behavior support plans based on each person's needs and Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP).
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and provide behavior plan training to staff and caregivers.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports, service recommendations, consultation reports, and other required clinical documentation.
- Maintain accurate session notes, billing records, and documentation for therapy and consultation services.
- Manage a caseload of at least 100 billable hours per month while scheduling and supporting new clients.
- Travel to client homes, residential settings, and other service locations to provide therapy, consultations, and meetings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise and support RBTs and other behavior staff, and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Required Education: Tier 1 candidates must be provisionally licensed as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri or eligible for provisional licensure through completed coursework and supervised hours. Tier 2 candidates must be currently enrolled in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program and eligible to accrue BCBA supervision hours.
- Experience supporting adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and/or other behavioral or mental health needs.
- At least 2 years of experience in ABA.
