Sales & Business Development Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager based in the United States.

This is a remote, nationwide opportunity for an experienced sales professional to own the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building through closing and account growth.
You will sell high-value products and services to organizations operating across innovative and technology-driven markets.
The role combines new business development, consultative selling, strategic account management, and executive-level relationship building.
You will have significant autonomy over your territory while contributing ideas to sales strategy, partnerships, and market development.
The position includes opportunities for extensive travel, customer presentations, industry events, and face-to-face meetings across the Americas.
You will collaborate with international teams across sales, marketing, research, and finance while building expertise in emerging technologies and market trends.
For a motivated, results-driven professional, this role offers strong visibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a measurable commercial impact.

Accountabilities
  • Develop new business through proactive prospecting, cold outreach, event networking, lead follow-up, industry research, and other sales development channels.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including identifying prospects, understanding business objectives, presenting relevant solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating, and closing opportunities.
  • Conduct customer meetings and presentations both remotely and in person, traveling to client locations when appropriate.
  • Represent the organization at international conferences, industry events, and other relevant business development opportunities.
  • Identify high-potential prospects and arrange productive meetings with senior decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Director- and C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Retain and expand existing accounts by understanding customer needs, strengthening relationships, and delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Manage the sales pipeline for an assigned territory or portfolio and develop strategies to increase revenue and market penetration.
  • Match client requirements with appropriate products and services, while clearly communicating their business value and differentiation.
  • Monitor competitors, market developments, emerging technologies, and industry trends to identify new opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with research, marketing, finance, and other internal teams to support client relationships and commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline information, forecasts, and account data.
  • Prepare sales reports and contribute to broader business initiatives, marketing activities, and strategic growth projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience with a demonstrable record of achieving results.
  • Proven experience in prospecting, hunting for new business, closing deals, and managing existing accounts.
  • Experience selling products or services; exposure to SaaS, subscriptions, research reports, consulting, or marketing services is advantageous, though candidates from other industries are welcome.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into compelling commercial solutions.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently with significant autonomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills when managing multiple opportunities, accounts, and priorities.
  • Good IT and CRM skills, with the ability to maintain accurate pipeline and customer information.
  • Positive, resilient, and proactive attitude with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States and Americas for customer meetings and industry events.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with international colleagues and cross-functional teams.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and sales performance.
  • Fully remote work from anywhere in the United States.
  • Extensive domestic and international travel opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work with prominent professionals and organizations across innovative, technology-focused industries.
  • High degree of autonomy and ownership over your territory and sales activities.
  • Opportunity to contribute to sales strategy, marketing initiatives, partnerships, and business growth.
  • Professional development and opportunities to take on increasing responsibility.
  • Training and knowledge-sharing with colleagues across the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies, market intelligence, and cutting-edge industry developments.
  • Collaborative international working environment.
  • Full-time position with ongoing recruitment and potential for an early start.
