Job Description

Sales Director, Americas

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Director, Americas based in United States.

This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for accelerating revenue growth and expanding market presence across North and South America. You will own a $50M annual revenue target across the Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Operations (AECO) and Public Safety Analytics markets. The role combines direct sales leadership with hands-on management of distributors, resellers, and strategic partners. You will work closely with frontline sellers, sales managers, customers, and partners to shape deals and drive execution. Success requires a strong understanding of complex B2B technology sales, strategic account development, forecasting, and channel growth. This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact regional organization while influencing go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, and long-term commercial performance.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute the Americas go-to-market strategy for the AECO and Public Safety Analytics markets, identifying priority segments, strategic accounts, and regional growth opportunities.
  • Own and deliver a $50M annual regional sales target, driving performance across both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Lead sales managers and frontline account teams through pipeline development, opportunity qualification, territory planning, deal strategy, and closing execution.
  • Maintain a highly hands-on leadership approach by participating in customer meetings, demonstrations, presentations, negotiations, joint calls, field visits, and strategic account planning.
  • Coach sales teams through regular deal reviews, performance discussions, and practical field engagement while building a culture of accountability, urgency, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, develop, and expand a high-performing ecosystem of distributors, resellers, and strategic partners across the Americas.
  • Work directly with channel partners on co-selling, territory alignment, joint go-to-market activities, business reviews, enablement, and major customer opportunities.
  • Develop and implement partner enablement programs covering training, incentives, sales tools, positioning, and execution standards.
  • Support partners on high-value opportunities through pricing strategy, technical positioning, account engagement, and deal execution.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with major AECO and Public Safety organizations and actively participate in customer sales cycles and solution briefings.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, partner summits, and other strategic market events.
  • Partner with Product Management to communicate customer needs, competitive insights, and market opportunities that can influence product strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns, demand-generation initiatives, and channel programs supporting direct and indirect sales motions.
  • Work with Customer Success to strengthen adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term account value.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, deal processes, and commercial efficiency.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting discipline using CRM platforms, analytics dashboards, KPIs, and partner scorecards.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, territory models, operating frameworks, and channel management practices to support scalable growth.
  • Leverage appropriate AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost efficiency while critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in B2B technology, software, industrial solutions, or related markets.
  • Proven experience managing $30M–$50M+ revenue portfolios across large geographic territories.
  • Deep experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Operations (AECO) market, with a strong understanding of customer workflows, buying processes, and industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success leading hands-on sales organizations, including direct field sales teams and distributor, reseller, or partner networks.
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic planning skills, commercial judgment, and operational discipline.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and strategic customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and motivate high-performing sales teams in high-growth or transformation environments.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management, sales methodologies, forecasting, territory planning, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Experience selling into public sector technology markets is preferred.
  • Experience scaling distributor or reseller ecosystems is preferred.
  • Existing relationships across the AECO industry are highly valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Americas.
Benefits
  • Base salary range of $200,000–$300,000+ USD, with incentive compensation aligned to market.
  • Senior leadership opportunity with ownership of a $50M regional sales target.
  • Opportunity to shape go-to-market strategy across major AECO and Public Safety Analytics markets.
  • High-impact role combining direct sales leadership, strategic accounts, and channel development.
  • Opportunity to work closely with customers, partners, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations.
  • Exposure to emerging AI-enabled approaches for sales productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
  • Opportunities to build and scale sales teams and strategic partner ecosystems across the Americas.
  • Travel opportunities to engage with customers, partners, and industry events across the region.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to considering qualified candidates without regard to protected characteristics.
