About the Role:

The Shipping & Receiving position at Engineered Fabrication Inc. is a critical role responsible for managing the efficient flow of materials and products into and out of the facility. The primary goal is to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments and outgoing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production schedules. This role requires close coordination with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth logistics operations. The successful candidate will contribute to minimizing delays, reducing errors, and optimizing warehouse space utilization. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory records.
• Familiarity with standard safety procedures and material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Forklift certification or experience operating other warehouse machinery.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and data entry into inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to organize storage and timely dispatch of materials and finished goods.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods within the facility.
• Communicate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries, resolving any shipping discrepancies or delays.
• Assist in inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned.
