Operational Excellence Team Lead - Fulfillment
The Operational Excellence Team Lead - Fulfillment is a key role within our organization,
dedicated to optimizing and streamlining our fulfillment processes. As an associate in this
position, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of
products to our valued customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
to analyze and improve our fulfillment operations, aiming to enhance overall productivity
and customer satisfaction. Utilizing your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, you
will identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions. With a strong
commitment to excellence, you will contribute to the seamless coordination of fulfillment
activities, from order processing to shipping, all while maintaining the highest quality
standards & delivering an ultimate Atlas experience.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Order Processing: Receive and review customer orders, ensuring accuracy and
completeness. Process orders using the appropriate systems and software, verifying
product availability and shipping requirements.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure adequate
stock levels are maintained. Monitor inventory accuracy and support efforts to reduce
discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders, ensuring that the correct products are selected, packaged securely, and shipped in a timely manner.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on packed orders to ensure they meet
established standards. Identify and rectify any issues or errors before shipping.
Process Improvement: Analyze order fulfillment processes and identify opportunities for
improvement. Propose and implement process enhancements to increase productivity
and reduce errors.
Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems and other relevant
technologies to optimize order fulfillment workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Performance Metrics: Ensure compliance on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to
order fulfillment, including order processing time, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate & work with various teams, such as
warehouse ops, shipping, inventory & returns department and other areas of our
distribution center operations when required.
Training and Development: Assist in the training of new team members on order
fulfillment processes and best practices. Share knowledge and expertise to foster a
culture of continuous learning.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines to maintain
a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications and Skills.
Quick learner.
Ability to be a champion of Atlas Core Values to team, colleagues, and customers.
Variety of standing and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting of the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.
Regular lifting of 20 lbs or more, must be able to lift up to 70 lbs or heavier.
Occasional climbing of ladders.
May require ability to operate material handling equipment including pump trucks.
Manual dexterity (quick with the hands).
Constant communication with coworkers, Team Leads and supervisors.
Efficient time management skills.
Excellent Microsoft Excel/Office skills.
