About the Role:

At Nick's, Server Assistants help make every guest's experience seamless. You'll support our servers by keeping tables clean, guests' glasses full, and the dining room running smoothly, so every guest enjoys attentive, friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Set and reset tables, including napkins, utensils, and condiments.
• Refill water and beverages, deliver food, and clear courses throughout the meal.
• Clear and clean tables quickly so they're ready for the next guests.
• Stock condiments, glassware, and other supplies so the dining room is always service-ready.
• Know our menu and be able to answer basic guest questions about Nick's.
• Help keep the dining room clean and guest-ready, and complete side work as assigned.
• Be a great teammate by helping Servers, Greeters, Prep Cooks, and Managers whenever needed, filling in for absent team members, and supporting special events.
• Take direction from management and expediters.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and grooming and appearance standards.
• Show up on time and ready for every shift with a positive attitude, proper uniform, server book, and flashlight.
• Stay flexible when schedules change based on the restaurant's needs.

What You'll Bring:

• Prior upscale casual restaurant experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English
• California Food Handler Card (provided if hired)

Location: Varies

Pay Range: $16.90 plus tips

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods; occasionally sit and twist; grasp and handle items with hands; and work shifts of
