About This Position
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Responsible for software licensing, hardware standardization, the introduction of best practices into the technical environment, and help with risk avoidance. Must have knowledge of purchasing and ordering systems, billing, and IT hardware and software management. Must possess the understanding and be familiar with the terminology used for ordering and tracking hardware and software. Will mentor peers and serve as a point of escalation within the team. Possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills when collaborating with internal team members, end users, and vendors to maintain a working team environment.
EXPERIENCE: 5-7 Years� experience in asset management related fieldExperience auditing hardware and software assets.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge of software and hardware terminology to include licensing requirements. Knowledge of purchasing ordering systems, billing, and invoicing. Be able to create queries or filters to identify specific hardware and software, as needed.Minimize cost and realize ROI through product standardization and tracking. Excellent organizational, verbal, written skills within IT and our customers/Vendors. Ability to work as a team to contribute to a positive environment. Strong documentation and process development skills required. Prioritize projects and tasks to meet deadlines as decided by IT Leadership.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional), CAMP (Certified Asset Management Professional), CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager), CMAM (Certified Mobility Asset Management), CITAD (Certified IT Asset Disposal) Preferred: CAMSE (Certified Asset Management Security Expert), CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager)
EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Computer Related Field, Preferred: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Computer Related Field
