Senior Application Analyst at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: Provides proactive management of complex applications in a highly integrated environment. In addition to performing day-to-day application support responsibilities, this position serves a consultative role for customers; working with end-users to design efficient workflowsthat make the most of available automation. The application systems analyst is responsible for running customer facing Change AdvisoryBoards and for maintaining customer engagement. This Senior Application Analyst will serve as a member of our Core Application team and will support Oracle Health applications including PowerChart Oncology, Security (prefs/privs/tasks, user account provisioning), PowerChart, Orders, Pharmacy and Documentation. Experience with Discern Rules and CCL is helpful. The position will also be responsible for serving as a project manager for small-to-medium sized IT projects within the Cancer Care Center, Infusion Clinics, and interventional treatment areas. The Core Applications team shares on-call duties with a weekly rotating schedule. This position does allow partial remote work after onboarding, with onsite duties for various testing, training, important meetings, and other events as needed.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ yrs. working with information systems and healthcare related applications and programs. 2 yrs. experience in a healthcare facility or with a health care system. Pharmacy orders experience or Cerner Oncology experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: High level of skill with a PC, familiarity with Windows Operating Systems, Expert in Microsoft Office programs, working understanding of general database principles and how data is stored, working understanding of general networking principles, working understanding of web-based systems.

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent, Preferred: Associates - Related Field, Bachelors - Related Field
