About This Position
Meridian Title is one of the nation's largest independent title agencies with over 80 years of experience in providing title insurance coverage, escrow closings, and real estate related services. We're looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team of commercial title and escrow experts. We're currently searching for an experienced Commercial Escrow Officer for our office in Elkhart.
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Expert knowledge of and adherence to the commercial title and escrow transaction processes.
- Next-level customer service and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external commercial clients
- Manage of all aspects of the commercial closing process.
- Efficiently and expediently resolve any commercial title issues that arise.
- Exhibit organization, accuracy and problem-solving competencies
- Communicate clearly using both written and verbal skills

Minimum Qualifications
- Prior Commercial Escrow/Title industry experience required (at least 2-4 years).
- Experience directly handling commercial escrow transactions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of ResWare and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain title licensing from the state.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain notary commission from the state.
