Job Description
Primary responsibilities of this position will be to complete electrical and mechanical assembly of controls and components. ENTRON Controls supplies a full line of microprocessor-based, solid-state controls for industrial welding applications.
Details of the position include:
- Assembly of electrical and mechanical devices comprising a complete Weld Control as well as sub assemblies for those controls.
- Measuring, cutting, crimping, and soldering of wire harnesses
- Following engineering drawings and SOPs
- The use of various hand and power tools, as well as measurement equipment to include micrometers, and calipers
- Occasional shearing, sawing, drilling, punching, or tapping holes in sheet metal
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Manage time effectively and efficiently

Requirements:Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related field
- High level knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electro-mechanical assembly and/or manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
