Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our production team in Black Mountain, NC. This role is responsible for the precise assembly of electrical control panels and the wiring integration of industrial refrigeration and air distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Assembly & Wiring
- Assemble, wire, and install electrical control panels and sub-assemblies based on engineering specifications
- Route and secure wiring within industrial units, ensuring clean layout, proper organization, and functional accuracy
- Perform system integration of electrical components into refrigeration and air distribution systems
Blueprint & Technical Interpretation
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Identify correct component placement, wiring paths, and connection points based on schematics
Soldering & Fabrication
- Perform precision soldering and de-soldering of electrical components
- Drill, tap, and modify metal housings to support component installation and mounting requirements
Quality & Testing
- Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohm meters, and other testing equipment to verify circuit performance
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, safety, and quality compliance
- Identify and troubleshoot wiring or component issues during assembly
Identification & Documentation
- Apply heat-shrink wire labels and identification markers according to electrical diagrams
- Maintain accuracy in labeling to support long-term serviceability and maintenance
Safety & Team Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards and PPE requirements
- Supporting other production departments as needed to meet production and shipping goals
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of basic electrical principles and circuit functionality
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Proficient with hand and power tools including drills, heat guns, impact tools, and soldering equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft 365: Outlook, Teams, basic data entry) preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
- Fine motor skills required for wiring, soldering, and small component assembly
- Ability to stand, bend, and work on production equipment for extended periods
- Must always follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
