Warehouse Associate Night Shift in Troy, Missouri at Witte Bros Exchange Inc

Witte Bros. Exchange, Inc. is a privately held, asset-based transportation and warehousing company leading the way in delivering nationwide frozen LTL (Less Than Truckload) food products based in Troy, MO. We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our Operations Team. We offer a stable, supportive team environment and value our warehouse team as an integral part of our success. This is a cold storage facility.

Job Duties:

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the products in the appropriate areas.
• Prior to product storage, count all products, compare counts to the driver's manifest, and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
• Reports shortages, damages, and misplacements to the immediate supervisor.
• Order Picking
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Ensure product comes from the proper locations and the lot numbers match the picking documents
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner to meet customer service standards.
• Loading
• Efficiently move products from the staging or storage areas into trailers.
• Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, or other power equipment
• Maintaining the facilities, equipment, and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Complete daily inspections and verify that equipment is operating prior to the start of the day's activity. Advise the supervisor of any problems encountered.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

Requirements:

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Must pass background screening

  1700-0400 Tuesday through Thursday

  2000-0800 Friday
