Perioperative Aide at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

Crouse’s Surgical Suite/OR team is hiring a Perioperative Aide to assist the team by transporting patients to and from surgery areas, assists with room turnovers, terminal cleaning and delivery/retrieval of equipment in the assigned surgical suite(s).

Pay Range: $19.50 - $24.84/hour

Available Schedule(s):

• Part-time, 16 hours/week; 2:00pm-10:30pm 3:00pm-11:30pm with rotation of weekends, holidays and other shifts as needed

Perioperative Aide Responsibilities:

• Routinely performs daily cleaning within the assigned surgical suite and designated surrounding areas.
• Transports patients, equipment and specimens throughout the hospital as directed by department leadership.

Perioperative Aide Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire
