Perioperative Aide in Syracuse, New York at Crouse Hospital

Crouse’s Madison Irving Surgery Center team is hiring a Perioperative Aide to assist the team by transporting patients to and from surgery areas, assists with room turnovers, terminal cleaning and delivery/retrieval of equipment in the assigned surgical suite(s).

Pay Range: $19.50 - $24.84/hour

Available Schedule(s):

• Per Diem – scheduled as needed

Perioperative Aide Responsibilities:

• Routinely performs daily cleaning within the assigned surgical suite and designated surrounding areas.
• Transports patients, equipment and specimens throughout the surgery center and to the hospital as directed by department leadership.

Perioperative Aide Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire
