Scrub Technician in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting an OR Technician to join our staff in the Main OR.

The OR consists of 23 active Surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.

A typical day will include: Assisting with supplies and needs of the department, perioperative care of the patient, preparing the operating room and equipment, providing support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway, and handling specimens collected. The OR Tech, maintains a safe, clean patient care environment; knows and applies aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable; actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications; behaves in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of CMH and performs other duties as requested.

This position is: Full-time Days 0700-1730

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent, Technical school or Associates Degree
• Experience:Preferred CST through on-job training
• Skills: Scrub Tech
• Licensure/Certification:CST or LPN with scrub experience
