The Senior Product Marketing Manager will own product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and market intelligence initiatives while establishing scalable product marketing processes across the organization.
- Build and lead the product marketing function, creating the frameworks, processes, documentation, and best practices needed to support product launches and market adoption.
- Own go-to-market strategy for new products and features by partnering with Product leadership, Revenue teams, Lifecycle Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Operations.
- Define launch readiness standards, ensuring products have clear positioning, messaging, internal enablement materials, and customer-facing narratives before release.
- Develop compelling product messaging, value propositions, competitive positioning, and sales enablement resources that help teams communicate customer value effectively.
- Establish competitive intelligence programs, including market research, win/loss analysis, battlecards, objection handling, and insights that influence product and GTM decisions.
- Define ideal customer profiles across product lines by analyzing customer data, market trends, and feedback from prospects and existing users.
- Partner directly with Product teams to bring customer insights, market signals, and competitive trends into roadmap discussions and prioritization decisions.
- Create and maintain internal and external content, including positioning documents, case studies, customer proof points, product briefs, and messaging frameworks.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on products, market differentiation, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Use data-driven insights from customer conversations, adoption metrics, market research, and sales feedback to improve messaging and launch strategies.
- Support Revenue teams by providing the knowledge, tools, and narratives needed to improve customer conversations and drive adoption.
The ideal candidate will have strong product marketing experience in complex industries, excellent strategic communication skills, and the ability to build scalable programs from the ground up.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, including at least 2 years in B2B fintech, financial services, SaaS, or another regulated and complex-product environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning go-to-market strategy, product positioning, messaging, and successful product launches.
- Experience building a product marketing function or process from zero, including establishing collaboration models between Product, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders.
- Strong competitive intelligence skills with the ability to create actionable insights, battlecards, and sales resources.
- Proven ability to partner directly with Product teams and influence roadmap discussions through customer and market insights.
- Exceptional written communication skills with experience creating clear, persuasive documentation, messaging frameworks, briefs, and enablement materials.
- Strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and how messaging influences buying decisions.
- Ability to distinguish impactful messaging from unnecessary complexity and create narratives that resonate with prospects and customers.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where processes and systems are still being built.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer feedback, market research, and performance data to guide decisions.
- Experience working as a SaaS sales, account management, customer success, or revenue team contributor is a plus.
- Experience working without an established marketing organization or creating new programs from scratch is preferred.
