Channel Account Manager

The Channel Account Manager will play a key role in accelerating partner-driven growth within a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.
This position is responsible for developing strategic channel initiatives, strengthening partner relationships, and expanding revenue opportunities.
The role combines sales leadership, partner enablement, and business development to create scalable go-to-market strategies.
The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build pipeline, increase market presence, and achieve ambitious revenue goals.

Accountabilities:

The Channel Account Manager will own the development and execution of partner strategies designed to increase channel revenue, expand market reach, and strengthen strategic relationships. This role requires a proactive sales mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across teams to create successful partner-driven growth initiatives.

  • Develop and execute channel strategies that increase revenue growth and strengthen partner ecosystems.
  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with strategic partners, including resellers, technology partners, and solution providers.
  • Create annual and quarterly channel business plans with measurable objectives, milestones, and performance indicators.
  • Develop partner programs and go-to-market initiatives that generate new opportunities and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Establish and maintain account plans to support sales expansion and increase business within targeted markets.
  • Leverage partner capabilities, solutions, and industry expertise to expand customer reach and create joint sales opportunities.
  • Manage regional channel performance, including pipeline development, forecasting, reporting, and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners, evaluate results, and implement improvement plans when needed.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting through CRM and partner relationship management tools.
  • Build strong internal partnerships to align channel initiatives with broader sales and business objectives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced channel sales professional with a strong background in cybersecurity, enterprise software, and partner ecosystem development. They should be comfortable leading strategic initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and managing revenue growth through indirect sales channels.

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, channel management, partner development, or related enterprise technology roles.
  • Proven success achieving channel sales targets and growing revenue through partner networks.
  • Experience designing, launching, and scaling partner or channel programs.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software sales processes and partner-led business models.
  • Experience using MEDDIC or MEDDPICC sales methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to create strategic plans, manage complex sales cycles, and influence decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with CRM and PRM platforms for pipeline management and performance tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of application security, DevSecOps, or cybersecurity markets is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing channel relationships in the Western United States is a plus.
