This is a senior account management opportunity focused on growing and strengthening relationships with complex, high-value customers.
You’ll develop strategic account plans, uncover expansion opportunities, and guide customers toward solutions aligned with their organizational objectives.
The role combines consultative selling, relationship management, pipeline ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll engage with senior decision-makers and build trusted-advisor relationships across a diverse customer base, including global organizations.
Working closely with sales, customer success, solutions, support, and technology teams, you’ll coordinate resources to drive successful expansion initiatives.
Your ability to understand customer needs, communicate business value, and navigate complex sales cycles will directly contribute to customer growth and long-term retention.

Build trusted, long-term business relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders across strategic customer accounts.
Develop detailed strategic account plans that identify customer priorities, growth opportunities, upsell potential, and cross-sell opportunities.
Research existing accounts to uncover opportunities for expanding the use of learning technology and related solutions.
Partner with internal leadership, solutions specialists, account development teams, customer success, support, and technology teams to develop and execute expansion strategies.
Manage expansion opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closed-won.
Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline, ensuring appropriate actions and follow-ups are completed at each stage of the sales process.
Develop a strong understanding of the learning management technology landscape and effectively communicate solution capabilities in the context of customer objectives.
Deliver product demonstrations and present pricing or solution options that align with customer requirements and business priorities.
Collaborate with customer success teams to identify account risks, address concerns, and help mitigate potential churn.
Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in relevant CRM and account management systems.
Monitor market developments, customer trends, and competitor activity, providing insights that can inform account and business strategies.
Travel for customer meetings, industry events, or business activities when required.
7+ years of experience in technology sales, strategic account management, enterprise sales, client management, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex organizations and developing strategic account plans that have resulted in meaningful expansion, upsell, or cross-sell opportunities.
Strong consultative and solution-selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate business solutions.
Proven ability to build credibility and become a trusted advisor to senior leaders and decision-makers.
Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, pipeline management, negotiation, and account growth strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Experience working with global or geographically distributed customers.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with teams across sales, customer success, technology, support, and leadership.
Commercially minded, proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of strategic accounts and revenue opportunities.
Ability to quickly learn and communicate the value of complex technology solutions and their application to customer objectives.
Comfortable using CRM, sales, customer success, and virtual collaboration tools; experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Zendesk, Calendly, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar systems is valuable.
A post-secondary degree in business or a related discipline is preferred; an MBA is an asset.
Ability to travel for business when required.
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship.
