This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Healthcare Analyst based in the United States.
This is a remote, mid-level analytics role focused on transforming complex healthcare data into actionable business and clinical insights.
You’ll support customer, operational, and strategic initiatives spanning value-based care, population health, quality outcomes, and performance improvement.
The role works with diverse datasets, including membership, clinical, claims, pharmacy, provider, marketing, and quality information.
You’ll take ownership of analytics projects from requirements gathering and solution design through analysis, visualization, and presentation.
The position combines hands-on technical work with meaningful interaction across customers, clinical operations, sales, marketing, and customer success.
You’ll also identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and quality improvements while helping strengthen analytics products and reporting capabilities.

Analyze, interpret, and explain complex membership, clinical, quality, utilization, and performance data to support customer and operational objectives.
Own assigned analytics projects by evaluating data requirements, designing analytical approaches, conducting analysis, and delivering actionable findings through Tableau, PowerPoint, and other reporting formats.
Translate customer needs into clear analytics and reporting requirements and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Serve as a primary analytics contact for assigned customers, participating in meetings, presenting insights, addressing ad hoc requests, and developing trusted working relationships.
Proactively analyze customer-specific utilization, financial, and clinical quality data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, cost savings, and areas for enhanced analytics.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve clinical and financial performance for internal leadership and external customers.
Conduct routine data quality reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Support analytics platform training and day-to-day user support.
Contribute to product improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance customer analytics, dashboards, reporting capabilities, and data platforms.
Build and maintain SQL Server-based invoicing and billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely member-level billing information across customer accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions address business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Bachelor’s degree in informatics, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
5+ years of direct experience in healthcare business analysis or a closely related analytics discipline.
Strong knowledge of healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims, clinical outcomes, HEDIS measures, biometrics, performance metrics, clinical processes, and survey data.
Working knowledge of relational database structures, data management practices, and healthcare or life sciences data elements.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and open-source reporting or analytics tools.
Demonstrated ability to apply statistical and digital analytical methods to solve complex business problems.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify meaningful patterns and translate them into practical recommendations.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and communicate complex analytical concepts clearly.
Highly self-motivated, intellectually curious, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of projects.
Experience working in virtual or telehealth care environments is a plus, particularly within cardiometabolic or weight-management programs.
Must reside within the continental United States.
