Newtown Termite & Pest Control is a growing, family-owned pest and home services company with more than 30 years of experience. As we continue expanding our specialty services, we are looking for an Ancillary Services Manager to take ownership of our Wildlife, Exclusion, Insulation, and Attic Services operations.
This is not a desk-only management position.
We are looking for someone who knows how to lead people, understands construction and home repair, isn't afraid to get in the field, and can build a high-performing team around them.
You will be responsible for leading the people, production, quality, and day-to-day operations of our ancillary services division.

What You'll OwnThe Ancillary Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation and growth of our specialty services division, including:
- Wildlife exclusion and repair
- Wildlife removal and handling
- TAP Pest Control Insulation installation
- Attic cleanouts and restoration
- Rodent exclusion
- Structural pest-proofing
- Minor carpentry and construction repairs
- Attic inspections and corrective work
- Future ancillary/home services as the department grows
You will be responsible for making sure the department has the right people, equipment, materials, systems, and processes to consistently deliver excellent work.
Your ResponsibilitiesLead the Team- Directly manage and develop ancillary service technicians and crews.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
- Establish clear expectations for production, quality, safety, and professionalism.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs and field inspections.
- Coach employees who are falling below expectations.
- Recognize and develop high-performing employees.
- Build a culture of accountability where people take pride in their work.
- Schedule crews and allocate manpower based on demand and job requirements.
- Ensure technicians have the tools, equipment, materials, and training necessary to succeed.
You will be responsible for making sure sold work gets completed correctly, efficiently, and profitably.
- Manage daily production schedules.
- Monitor job completion and labor hours.
- Identify production bottlenecks.
- Make sure crews have properly scoped jobs before beginning work.
- Coordinate between sales, office staff, technicians, and customers.
- Ensure jobs are completed within expected timeframes.
- Monitor department revenue and gross margin.
- Reduce unnecessary labor, material waste, callbacks, and warranty work.
- Develop production goals and hold the team accountable to them.

You will establish and enforce standards for:

- Attic restoration

- Sanitation and cleanouts

- Before-and-after photography

- Jobsite cleanliness
You will perform regular quality-control inspections and ensure corrective action is taken when work does not meet company standards.
Develop the DepartmentThis position will have a significant role in building the future of our ancillary services division.
You will help:
- Create and improve SOPs.
- Develop training programs.
- Establish production standards.
- Build technician career paths.
- Determine staffing requirements.
- Improve job costing and profitability.
- Identify new ancillary service opportunities.
- Develop systems that allow the department to scale without sacrificing quality.
- Work with ownership to establish annual and monthly department goals.
- 3+ years of experience managing or supervising field service, construction, wildlife, restoration, insulation, pest control, or another home-service team.
- Demonstrated experience managing employees and holding a team accountable.
- Strong understanding of residential construction and building components.
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- Wildlife exclusion
- Wildlife removal/handling
- Insulation installation
- Carpentry
- Roofing
- Siding
- Home restoration
- Pest control
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and other physically demanding environments when necessary.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technicians, office staff, and ownership.
- Experience managing multiple field crews.
- Wildlife trapping or wildlife management experience.
- Insulation installation experience, particularly cellulose insulation.
- Pest control industry experience.
- Construction or remodeling experience.
- Experience creating scopes of work and estimating labor/material requirements.
- Experience with scheduling and dispatch.
- Experience managing department budgets or P&Ls.
- Pest control or wildlife licensing.
- Experience using FieldRoutes or another field-service CRM.
