  • Support CI/CD implementation, platform monitoring, debugging, performance optimization, and load testing activities to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Provide technical consultation on REST API best practices, OpenAPI standards, and event-driven architectures to delivery and development teams.
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements involving service meshes, security frameworks, logging, and exception handling capabilities.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor team members on build, deployment, and DevOps best practices while promoting engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience developing software solutions with strong expertise in Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, Kubernetes, containerized applications, and AWS cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, API governance, event-driven systems, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of API specifications such as OpenAPI and experience designing scalable, secure API solutions.
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Confluent Platform, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, and serverless application development is considered an asset.
  • Experience with scripting, automation tools, Jenkins, Groovy, Spring Boot, and performance optimization methodologies is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, consulting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in global, distributed environments while adapting to evolving priorities and organizational needs.
  • Exposure to financial services, insurance, or highly regulated industries is considered beneficial.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of CAD $90,000 – $140,000 based on experience and location.
  • Flexible hybrid and remote-friendly work arrangements.
  • Opportunity to work on innovative, enterprise-scale digital transformation and API modernization initiatives.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in cloud, DevOps, automation, and event-driven systems.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work culture focused on learning, mentorship, and career growth.
  • Access to incentive programs and performance-based compensation opportunities.
