Job Description

The Director, Primary Care Strategy and Execution is responsible for supporting the PCP franchise to deliver on its strategy and business priorities by leading operational initiatives to enable effective commercialization in this new market sector. The role will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment across key initiatives to support the establishment, growth and scale of the PCP franchise. Reports directly to the Vice President, Prrimary Care.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the operational strategy supporting U.S. commercial business objectives, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, medical, and analytics teams.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on commercial performance, resource allocation, and market dynamics.
  • Consolidate and track operational plans to support strategic goals, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, market access, and medical affairs.
  • Develop and manage project plans, KPIs, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with cross functional partners to update and implement materials
  • Facilitate the execution of strategic priorities by coordinating across functional teams and removing barriers to success.
  • Oversee budget tracking, vendor management, and performance analytics for franchise

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 12+ years in Consulting experience, Pharmaceutical Operations, pharma/biotech or relevant experience
  • Proven business acumen (e.g. business degree, MBA, or previous role(s) proving business acumen development)

  • Strong organizational, managerial and leadership skills (including influence without formal authority)
  • Excellent social competencies and ability to work in a highly matrixed organization effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to build and cultivate internal and external networks
  • Proven track record of holding self and others accountable
  • Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Strong operational skills that include project/ timeline management capabilities
  • Excellent command of computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Experience in primary care a plus
