Lead Product Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Manager in Canada.

This role sits at the center of a fast-growing wealthtech platform transforming how financial advisors communicate investment strategies and guide client decisions. You will lead the vision and execution of a critical onboarding experience designed to help advisors and their clients activate quickly and confidently. The position blends product strategy, user experience design, and cross-functional leadership in a high-growth SaaS environment. You will work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to simplify complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-impact digital experiences. A key part of your mission will be driving adoption, improving activation, and shaping long-term customer success through data-informed decisions. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct influence on product direction and user outcomes across enterprise financial clients. It also includes mentoring other product managers as the organization continues to scale.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and performance of the onboarding product experience, ensuring it delivers strong activation, adoption, and long-term customer value. You will define how advisors and clients successfully engage with the platform from day one while continuously improving usability and outcomes through data and feedback.

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the onboarding and activation experience (Flow).
  • Design and optimize onboarding journeys that reduce friction and accelerate product adoption.
  • Define success metrics and leverage data to guide prioritization and product decisions.
  • Conduct ongoing customer discovery with advisors, enterprise clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with design and engineering to rapidly prototype, iterate, and launch features.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success for product launches.
  • Mentor and support other product managers, elevating product thinking and execution quality.
  • Continuously improve workflows that simplify complex financial and advisory processes.
Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned product leader with deep experience in SaaS and strong domain knowledge in financial services or wealth management. You bring a strong balance of strategic thinking, execution excellence, and customer empathy, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.

  • 7+ years of product management experience owning end-to-end product delivery in SaaS, fintech, or wealthtech.
  • 3+ years of experience in wealthtech or financial advisory workflow design.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, advisor workflows, and client-facing financial tools.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex systems and improve onboarding or activation experiences.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills across product, design, engineering, and GTM teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking product success metrics.
  • Customer-first approach grounded in research, analytics, and user insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching product managers (strong plus).
  • Comfortable balancing long-term product vision with hands-on execution.
  • Background in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or financial services is highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience, impact, and market benchmarks.
  • For Ontario-based candidates: base salary range of $195,000 – $245,000 CAD.
  • Additional total rewards may include variable compensation and equity participation.
  • Comprehensive benefits package designed to support health and well-being.
  • Flexible time off to promote balance and recovery.
  • Hybrid or flexible work environment supporting autonomy and trust.
  • Strong focus on career growth, learning, and professional development.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful products used by leading financial institutions across North America.
  • Collaborative, high-trust culture centered on ownership, respect, and continuous improvement.
