This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, partnerships, and consumer growth within a high-scale technology environment. You will own the financial strategy behind a significant investment portfolio focused on growth partnerships, directly influencing revenue, membership expansion, and user acquisition outcomes. Working cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, Data Science, and Accounting, you will shape how capital is allocated across key initiatives. The role combines deep financial modeling with strategic advisory work, requiring strong analytical rigor and executive presence. You will build frameworks for ROI measurement, forecasting, and performance tracking that guide senior leadership decisions. In a fast-moving, data-driven environment, your insights will directly impact long-term growth strategy and operational execution.
You will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and performance management of a major growth partnerships portfolio while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Own end-to-end financial support for a ~$100M annual growth partnerships portfolio, defining ROI frameworks tied to GTV, membership growth, and user acquisition
- Build and maintain driver-based forecasting, scenario planning models, and financial analyses for consumer revenue and partnership investments
- Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, monthly forecasting, and close processes in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Evaluate new partnership opportunities through financial diligence, including unit economics, incrementality, payback, and ROI assessment
- Design and operationalize measurement frameworks with Data Science teams, including attribution, experimentation, and performance tracking
- Establish operating cadences, KPI dashboards, and OKRs to ensure alignment, accountability, and continuous optimization of investments
This role requires a seasoned strategic finance professional with strong technical modeling skills and experience influencing senior stakeholders in complex, data-driven environments.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, or consulting with strong financial modeling expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a quantitative discipline
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including cohort, CAC/LTV, 3-statement, and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong proficiency in SQL for analyzing large datasets and supporting financial decision-making
- Proven experience managing or advising on $50M+ investment or growth portfolios with measurable ROI accountability
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams to influence strategic decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial insights into clear business recommendations
- Competitive annual base salary (Canada range: approximately CAD $176,000–$185,500, depending on experience and location)
