Education Sales Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Education Sales Manager based in Canada.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced beauty industry professional to combine education, sales, and relationship management in a dynamic, field-based role. You will support the growth of salon partners and distributor networks by delivering impactful training programs, developing educational initiatives, and strengthening technical expertise across assigned territories. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive brand awareness, expand customer relationships, and ensure consistent educational excellence. Accountabilities
  • Deliver engaging education programs, technical training sessions, and product demonstrations for distributor partners, salon professionals, and industry events.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development of distributor educators to maintain consistent educational standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and enhance educational content, training materials, and market-specific learning initiatives.
  • Partner with international education teams to ensure alignment on product launches, educational strategies, and training consistency.
  • Lead education sessions during sales meetings, product launches, regional events, workshops, and technical seminars.
  • Work closely with sales teams to strengthen existing salon partnerships while supporting new business development and account growth.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for the education network, providing guidance on product knowledge, color theory, and professional application techniques.
  • Identify emerging educational needs, industry trends, and opportunities to enhance learning experiences across the territory.
  • Maintain an active professional presence on social media to support educational initiatives and increase brand engagement.
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including weekend events and training sessions, as required.
Requirements
  • Valid Cosmetology License with strong technical expertise in color, cutting, styling, and chemical services.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in professional beauty education, salon training, or technical sales.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering educational presentations, facilitating training programs, and coaching beauty professionals.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, technical haircare applications, and professional salon practices.
  • Experience supporting distributor relationships and collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Apple applications, and digital communication tools.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel throughout Canada and the Central United States, including weekend availability when required.
