The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics will lead the development and execution of analytics strategies that support fundraising programs, marketing initiatives, and portfolio growth. This role requires strong leadership, advanced analytical expertise, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations that improve engagement, revenue, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide strategic marketing and business analytics support across fundraising, lottery, and mission-focused programs.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to use data insights to influence strategy, improve performance, and guide decision-making.
- Develop evaluation frameworks, measurement strategies, and reporting approaches to assess program effectiveness and maximize impact.
- Lead donor behavior analysis, segmentation strategies, and predictive insights to improve acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Analyze campaign performance and develop recommendations to optimize current and future marketing initiatives.
- Build scalable reporting and visualization solutions that enable self-service insights and real-time decision-making.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning through accurate data analysis and performance modeling.
- Oversee data operations, quality controls, governance processes, and documentation to ensure reliable analytics delivery.
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve data pipelines, data models, and analytics infrastructure.
- Manage external vendors and consultants to expand analytics capabilities, address skills gaps, and ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.
- Establish best practices for data-driven decision-making and promote analytics maturity across teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop analytics team members while supporting career growth and high performance.
- Monitor emerging analytics trends, technologies, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve strategic insights and innovation.
The ideal candidate is a senior analytics leader with extensive experience applying data-driven strategies within customer-focused organizations. You should have strong marketing analytics expertise, advanced technical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders through clear insights and recommendations.
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business and marketing analytics within a customer-centered organization.
- At least 3 years of experience managing and developing teams, including virtual teams.
- Experience working with customer databases, CRM platforms, and reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing analytics, including digital, email, paid media, brand marketing, direct mail, and outbound communication channels.
- Experience managing external suppliers, agencies, or analytics consultants.
- Experience with fundraising, charity lottery analytics, sales pipeline analytics, or donor engagement analytics is an asset.
- Advanced data skills using SQL, Excel, DAX, R, Python, or similar analytical tools.
- Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Strong understanding of digital tracking frameworks, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager.
- Knowledge of predictive modeling, statistical analysis, segmentation, and data visualization techniques.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, project management, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Strong strategic mindset with curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Competitive hiring salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 CAD, based on experience and qualifications.
- Remote work model with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
- Occasional in-person collaboration opportunities in Toronto approximately 4-6 times per year.
