Project Manager, SWF

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager, SWF based in the United States.

Join a team dedicated to delivering advanced healthcare solutions that improve operational efficiency and support better patient outcomes. In this role, you will lead complex installation projects from order entry through final implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. You will coordinate internal teams, customers, contractors, and service partners while managing timelines, resources, and technical requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful healthcare technology projects, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to seamless surgical workflow solutions in a dynamic environment requiring leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of assigned surgical workflow projects, from order initiation through installation completion and transition to service support.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, staffing strategies, and installation schedules while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and operational goals.
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, suppliers, logistics partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee installation activities, ensuring equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Conduct pre-installation site assessments, verify site readiness, review technical requirements, and coordinate necessary preparation activities.
  • Manage external installation contractors, providing guidance, oversight, and support to ensure efficient and compliant execution.
  • Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure profitability targets are achieved while maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales teams during quoting and planning processes to validate technical configurations and support business growth opportunities.
  • Track production schedules, shipment timelines, project documentation, and progress updates using project management tools.
  • Lead communication between customers, technical teams, field service representatives, and leadership to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.
  • Support equipment testing, commissioning, and final handover activities to ensure systems are fully operational.
  • Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all project activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience applying technical principles, project management practices, and procedures related to complex product installations or technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of project execution, customer coordination, technical environments, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience managing installation teams, contractors, service providers, or technical project stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead project teams, manage priorities, and make sound business decisions in complex environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and installation drawings.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to evaluate technical information, analyze data, and provide recommendations to support project decisions.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 75% depending on project requirements.
  • Ability to safely handle and lift equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
